Описание: When you apply for a Possible Loan, one of the first steps is linking your bank account. But why does this matter—and how does it work?

Unlike traditional “underwriting” systems that only look at your credit score, Possible reviews factors like your real cash flow. By checking your deposit history and spending patterns, we get a fuller picture of your finances to make lending decisions.

Bank connections are handled through Plaid, a secure third-party service that works with more than 9,000 banks and credit unions. For the best results, make sure to connect your primary account—the one where you get your paychecks and handle most of your day-to-day spending. Credit cards, prepaid accounts, and digital wallets can’t be used as your primary account.

Some online banks, like Chime, aren’t supported as a primary account for applications. You can still use Chime for payments, but you’ll need to connect a different active bank account to apply. If your institution isn’t supported, consider using another account that you use regularly.
