Looking to record voice audio from your helmet?
Don't have a mini usb to 3,5 mic adapter or the bulky new Gopro Microphone adapter?
If your helmet already has a bluetooth enabled intercom, an option is to record audio over bluetooth.
Pros:
No extra hardware needed
No installation
Works with any camera (since it's not connected to a camera)
Cons:
Audio file is separate from video which requires post edit
Sound quality is lower than cabled mic
Need to start audio recording separate from video cams
So even if you don't use this as your number 1 recording option it's a great hack and works well.
Gopro Hero 3,4,5,6,7 doesn't matter.
Works on iPhone and Androoid, as long as you can talk on the phone with your intercom.
