The Community Representation Framework (Report CPS2016-0393) will take a look at the effectiveness of organized community groups in representing communities and clarifying roles, relationships and responsibilities.
The City of Calgary will also be taking a look into its policies, practices and role in supporting these community groups and develop a framework to maximize opportunities for decision-making in building communities.
The groups included are:
Council members
Federation of Calgary Communities
Community Associations
Resident Associations
BRZs
