Описание: The Doomben 10,000 is a Brisbane Racing Club Group 1 Thoroughbred Weight for Age horse race, run over a distance of 1200 metres at Doomben Racecourse in Brisbane during the Queensland Winter Racing Carnival. With a total prize of A$1,500,000 the race is considered one of the premier sprint races in Queensland racing.

The winner of the 2023 Doomben 10,000 was the Clayton Douglas trained Giga Kick. The reigning Everest winner of 2022 brought his sprinting talents up to Queensland and knocked off the the ever impressive inaugural Quokka winner Overpass in the final furlong. The $1.70 favourite picked up his 2nd Group 1 win after his All Aged Stakes triumph in his previous race, both of which he won with veteran hoop Craig Williams on his back.
