"And now ladies and gentlemen...
The moment I've been waiting to share with you for months, the brand new gold plated, mirror polish stainless steel life size mechanical horse, commissioned by the Daxton Hotel in Birmingham, Michigan.
This is a major moment in my journey as an artist, this is the finest, most carefully executed sculpture I have ever made, and I couldn't have done it without the bold vision of the creators of this hotel.
It is a true honor for this piece to be one of the main focal points of this incredible newly built hotel, on permanent display in the lobby.
Pushing the limits of kinetic art, automaton and metal sculpture .
Built at the Reno Generator in Nevada, completed in August 2020.
