Lisbon feels like a dream city for street photographers, especially due to all of the steep hills, narrow alleys, and historic colorful architecture—plus it’s safe, walkable, and pretty effortless to capture beautiful images if you take the time to pay attention.
Since I wasn’t focused on capturing the locals (which requires a faster pace style of shooting), shooting with my trusty point-and-shoot, Yashica T5, and a roll of Portra 400 (35 mm film) allowed me to slow down and take my time and capture candid moments of the city's vibrant life, colorful trams, historic neighborhoods, and the unique feel that only film can bring especially when shooting in color in a city like this.
