MRCEM/FRCEM OSCE Exam | What are the similarities? | What are the differences?
Similarities:
1. MRCEM/FRCEM – Both require thorough histories to be taken
2. MRCEM/FRCEM – Need to pass resuscitation stations (MUST)
3. MRCEM/FRCEM - In both exams, the candidate must show empathy, listen to concerns, and address all questions
Differences:
1. MRCEM is a registrar level exam and FRCEM is a consultant level exam
2. MRCEM is for International graduates and FRCEM UK based trainees
3. MRCEM include history diagnosis/management plan whereas FRCEM history includes diagnosis and management plan at a consultant level
