Himachal: Official blames continuous rain for Bilaspur landslide that killed 15 bus passengers

Описание: At least 15 passengers were killed after a massive landslide struck a private bus in Himachal Pradesh’s Bilaspur district. The accident occurred in the Bhalughat area of Jhandutta when the bus, carrying around 30-35 passengers, was travelling from Marotan to Ghumarwin. Officials said continuous rainfall since Monday triggered the landslide that buried the vehicle under debris.
Rescue operations are underway with police and district authorities at the site. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed deep grief and directed officials to speed up rescue efforts.
