We take a deep dive into the State's best evidence against grandma Donna Adelson. Donna is charged with murder and murder-for-hire in the execution death of FSU law professor Dan Markel. Donna's son Charlie Adelson, a dentist and periodontist from Miami, was convicted on the same charges just a little over a week ago.
On Monday night, Donna was picked up at the airport attempting to fly to Dubai. Prosecutors say she arranged through son Charlie to hire hitmen to kill her ex-son-in-law so that her grandchildren could move to South Florida to be closer to her. We will take a look at the probable cause affidavit filed by the State on November 13, 2023.
