What happens when you heat 500 bearing balls to 1000°C and forge them into a knife?
In this video, I attempt to forge a real Damascus knife using nothing but bearing balls and office staples. This insane scrap metal experiment pushes steel to extreme temperatures to create a unique Damascus pattern.
From red hot steel to the final grind and etch, watch the full process of transforming scrap into a beautiful handmade blade.
🔥 Materials Used:
Bearing balls (high carbon steel)
Steel staples
High heat forge (1000°C+)
Hydraulic press
Knife grinding and finishing tools
This is one of the craziest scrap-to-Damascus builds I've ever attempted.
