Andhra Pradesh Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P. Narayana has stated that an additional 1,800 acres of land is still needed under the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) for the full development of Amaravati as the state capital.
In a recent meeting, Narayana urged farmers to cooperate with the government's land pooling scheme, emphasizing that it would be more beneficial to them than land acquisition. He stated that if farmers prefer a land acquisition approach, the government would also consider that, but he believes land pooling offers greater advantages.
