Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says New Zealand has done what few countries could do and stopped a "wave of devastation", with total confirmed and probable cases in New Zealand at 1,440, and 12 deaths. As a result, the country is set to step back to level three restrictions, closer to those Australia has been living under, from Monday April 27 before deciding on further measures.
