Gujarati Unique Sabzi - Papdi Dhokli nu Shaak
Ingredients / Method
Oil - 2 tbsp
Ajwain - 1tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Green chilli paste - 1 tbsp
Hing - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Papdi (take one with big beans)- 150 gms
Baking Soda - 1 pinch
Water - 1 glass
Salt to taste
Let it cook on slow flame
Dhokli Ingredients / Method
Jowar flour - 2 tbsp
Besan flour - 2 tbsp
Methi leaves - 1/2 cup
soak in salt water for 5 min then remove all water and add to flour
Salt to taste
Sugar - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Hing - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Coriander-cumin powder- 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Water as needed and knead a semi soft dough (not to tight)
Take lil oil and make small oval shape balls
Add dhokli to sabzi once papdi is half done.
Once dhokli and papdi is done add green garlic (optional) and coriander leaves finely chopped - 1/2 cup each
