A train of LPG tankers derailed at Plovdiv Central Station in the morning of 16.02.2019, fortunately with no injured. The locomotives (86 003 and 86 001) and 3 wagons went out of the track due to damaged track switch (as per the official position of authorities).
The train station area was with limited access during the footage since the authorites were still investigating the accident.
The train operator Bulmarket got a bad fame in 2016 after a serious accident in the village of Hitrino, in which their train (pulled by the very same locomotive 86 003) exploded. The result was 7 dead, 29 injured and about 50 buildings destroyed.
