Seiken Densetsu 3 - How to get ??? Seeds, Items for the 3rd Class (2nd Class Change)

Take note this is merely my favored method. There may be others and better ones out there.

EDIT: Turned out this was a good idea since stupid Youtube nuked all annotation from existence in the end.

For the people in a hurry here's a summarized step-by-step:
1) Have Mama Potos spawning at Level 32. This is the bare minimum for Papa Potos to show up.
2) Make sure there aren't 3 enemies onscreen. 2 or 1 is fine.
3) Attack Mama Potos, but go easy as they can be killed before spawning a Papa Poto if you pile up on them.
4) Papa Poto will spawn.
5) Kill Papa Poto LAST.
6) Sometimes a treasure chest will appear. Key word here is: SOMETIMES.
7) You may get the "??? Seed" item, but keep in mind "??? Seeds" are uncommon loot.
8) Go to an Inn and plant said the "??? Seed".
9) If you're lucky you'll get the item for your desired class. Take note that there are 2 classes for each job you selected, so if you're aiming for a specific class you'll have to farm for the seeds, repeating steps 1 through 8.
10) Level up to 38 and use the desired item class at the Mana Goddess Statue at Mana Holyland.

If you want a bit more of detail on how this works read more below:

Q: What are these ??? Seeds and what are they for?
A: ??? Seeds are needed to obtain items for the 2nd Class Change at level 38.

Q: How do you get them?
A: Make sure to read these instruction VERY CAREFULLY. If you skip one part or detail the "??? Seed" will not drop.

The earliest you can get them (overall) is from Papa Potos which will spawn from Mama Potos at Level 32 at minimum. Having that in mind the best place to do the collecting is the room at the Ancient Ruins of Light (the place where you fight Lightgazer).

Beware that Mama Potos are sort of fragile so if you hit them TOO much you might end up killing them before they have a chance to spawn a Papa Poto. Also take note that is there's three enemies on the screen the Papa Poto will NOT spawn either, you must make room by killing one enemy first.

Another place, nowhere good as the last, is Labyrinth of Ice Walls, but it's way harder since you got other monsters around and, as I mentioned, Poto class monsters are kind of fragile, you might kill them before the others.

MAKE SURE YOU DO KILL THE ****Papa Poto**** LAST for clearing the screen (Victory!) and if you are lucky a chest will spawn, open it and it may contain one "??? Seed" which you can plant in almost any Inn of the game to get one item.

Q: Is there any other way?
A²: Yes. But ONLY if you picked Hawk/Lise as the main character. Go to the throne room of Navarre, you can kill Lesser Demons (Lv. 27) there. It's MUCH easier doing this by the way as you don't have to be careful to not kill a certain enemy accidentally.

BEWARE YOU MUST DO IT BEFORE KILLING GOD-BEASTS, once you dealt with all seven of them these enemies will stop showing up in Navarre.

The cherry on the top of this sundae is you can get Weapn/Armor Seeds for some of the strongest equipment of the game, if you're lucky/patient enough. Phew.

Note that not always the "??? Seed" will come. When you plant them in an Inn you might get more than one of the same class change item, so if you want a specific class this can be time consuming as you probably will need to hunt for a lot of those pesky thingies.
