The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) okayed 10 projects about health, higher education, physical planning, housing and power sectors costing Rs 96.1 billion including Gomal Zam Dam and Naulong Dam which have been forwarded to ECNEC.
The meeting of CDWP took place in Islamabad on Monday under the Chairmanship of Jahanzeb Khan, the Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission where the session approved eight development projects, worth Rs 30.2 billion and recommended two projects worth Rs 65.9 billion to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council.
Ministry of Water Resources presented two projects Naulong Multipurpose Dam Project Jhal Magsi (3rd Revised) worth Rs 39.944 billion and Gomal Zam Dam Multipurpose Project in South Waziristan worth 25.928 billion which were recommended to ECNEC according to the press release.
