Why not?
I'd love to see this engine fully released in the future. Imagine the games and the speedruns. I'd quite like to give making a SNES-styled Mega Man X fan game a shot.
The only problem I personally have with the engine is wall jumping: tapping the jump button too quickly doesn't make X/Zero jump up, instead it resets the y momentum. However, I can easily see that being fixed. Other than that, It's great!
