Joe Waight continued his fine scoring form since joining in January after his effort on the edge of the box curled into the bottom corner. Both sides went into the break level as Matty Burrows equalised for the Magpies on the stroke of half-time. Will Hall marked his return to action from injury by nodding the Geordies back in-front from a corner. However, the points would be shared after Jack Lovell latched onto Matt Neale’s through ball and dinked it home.

Next up is a trip to the Charters Community Stadium to take on Winchester City this weekend. Then we take on Hayes & Yeading United in our rearranged Middlesex Senior Cup fixture at the Powerday before welcoming Havant and Waterlooville.
