Today I’m reacting to a video explaining how the British ended the transatlantic slave trade, and this was both eye-opening and important to learn about. 🇬🇧📘

As an American, I think this history isn’t discussed nearly enough outside the UK. This video looks at Britain’s role in abolishing the slave trade, the political pressure, the naval enforcement, and the long, costly effort to end it — including the sacrifices made to dismantle a system that had been entrenched for centuries.
