Hello and welcome to this tutorial on how to sew this comfy summer set consisting of a V-neck top with front tie closure and flare sleeves, and an easy low rise mini skirt with elastic waistband.

Sizes 4-24 (see measurements on Etsy)

This pattern includes:
sewing pattern for the top with two different sleeves - small flare sleeve (green top) and wide flare sleeve (beige top)
sewing pattern for a matching low rise mini skirt with elastic waistband

This purchase includes:
A4 PDF format & US letter format
A0 PDF format
Instructions (recommended way of assembling the pattern)

Fabric recommendation: lightweight woven fabric such as muslin, linen or cotton

In examples I used muslin for the green set and textured linen/viscose blend for the beige set

Supplies
Lightweight woven fabric
Width: 140cm/55”
Length: 250cm/100”
Optional: bias tape for the neckline ("binding” pattern piece can be replaced with pre-made bias tape)
Optional: decorative trim for ties (replace “tie” pattern piece)
Elastic (2.5cm wide) for skirt’s waistband
