Royal biographer Angela Levin has slammed Meghan Markle’s “hypocrisy” after the Duchess of Sussex was late to the Invictus Games because she was “making milkshakes” for her kids.
The mother-of-two took to the stage to apologise for arriving late, explaining she could not leave Montecito until Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet were “settled” at their California home with their milkshakes.
The Duchess of Sussex said in her speech: “I had to spend a little more time getting our little ones settled at home. Getting milkshakes, doing school drop off.”
“It’s ridiculous, and it’s incredibly annoying, and I find it very patronising that people won’t see through it,” Ms Levin told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“That was obviously nonsense.”
