BEYOND DIS:PLAY is a theatre training programme that nurtures talented,
performing artists, broadening their artistic skills (i.e.
physical theatre, screen acting, music-making, dancing,
singing) while simultaneously deepening their practice
through mentorships with industry professionals. Over the course of two years (2020–2022), 9 mentees undergo rigorous training to prepare
themselves for professional careers in the arts sector.
In November 2022, they graduated with 7 thought-provoking productions that were in collaboration with more than 30 creative and industry professionals. These stagings were witnessed by over 900 audiences to resounding applause and standing ovations. This is their experience.
