ECRIF provides a way of looking at what students are doing and thinking as they go through the learning process.
Its stages are Encounter, Clarify, Remember, Internalize and Fluently use; each stage as important as the other, they all work together to let us see from the learner perspective what's happening in their mind and that way help students learn better.
We discuss the some examples, the framework we use to plan ECRIF lessons, and our experience using it.
