Big Fails in Streets of Rage 2 No Death!

I'm attempting what has never been done before: No Death in Streets of Rage 2 with Max on the top difficulty (Mania). In the 8 levels this game has, the level 7 elevator section is by far the most difficult. I have beaten the 7 elevator eight times. It can take me an entire stream of eight hours before I get a single no death level 7. I am the only person to no death 7 with Max. I had a no death 7 on Friday and another one on Saturday. This makes it very painful when I fail at level 8. I view these failures as an example of why I'm going to succeed. I don't know when to quit so I'm Too Good to Fail :)
