Today at around 19:00hrs received information from Karwar informing that one accused namely Prashant is involved in a murder case registered vide crime no 82/2026 u/s 103 (1) 0f BNS of Panampur Police Station Manglore Karnataka is likely came to Goa by train No 22655 Hazrat Nizamuddin Express.

On receipt of this information and as per the direction of PI Vikram Niak of Konkan Railway Police Station a team lead by PSI Jitendra Gaude, PC 7461 Vasim Shaikh, PC 9032 Manjunath Dodamani and PC 7740 Sanjay Gaonkar was constituted and deployed at Margao Railway station at various points thereafter the said suspected accused is successfully apprehended through the CCTV footage, technical analysis and through the intelligence.

The said accused person was then brought at Konkan Railway Police Station during the Course of interrogation he disclosed his name as Prashant Kumar S/o Narsh Bhandari, Age 36 years R/o 104 Shivaji Nagar Darbhanga Bihar.

The entire operation to nab the accused person was held under supervision P.I. Vikram Naik, Dysp Hiru Kavlekar under the overall supervision of S.P. Shekhar Prabhudessai of Konkan Railway.

The said information of arrest of accused has been given to Mohammad Saleem Police Inspector of Panampur Police Station Manglore Karnataka who is the investigation officer of this case for further necessary procedure.

Presently the said accused person is in the custody of Konkan Railway Police Station Goa.
