Here are my 2 new acquisitions, an RCA 45-EY-2, and a 45-J-2, which play 7" 45rpm records.
Both use the RCA RP-190 record changer, which is a single-speed record changer which can play up to 12 7"
45rpm records at a time. Adjusting the height allows an absolute maximum of 15 records at a time.
The 45-EY-2 is self-amplified, which has its own 2-stage tube amplifier (3 tubes if you count the rectifier tube), while the 45-J-2 is meant to be an attachment to an existing radio.
The EY-2 was refitted with a Chuo-Denshi CZ-800 ceramic cartridge, bridged to mono, so it can play stereo records without issues, while the J-2 was converted to stereo, and refitted with a Shure SC35C magnetic cartridge.
