In this video, I step away from geometric minimalism to focus on the organic, flowing "whiplash" curves and botanical motifs characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement. I demonstrate how to translate these complex, decorative elements into functional lighting concepts.

Using Copic markers, I focus on creating a sense of warmth and material richness, simulating the interplay between cast metal bases and glowing glass shades. Mastering such a distinct aesthetic is a great exercise in form-finding and shows how historical styles can still inform contemporary industrial design.
