Описание: Come join researcher and PhD Candidate Katie Fitzgerald for her talk entitles "Bats and Forest Management"! Katie is currently working with Dr. Joy O'Keefe in the Human-Wildlife Interactions Lab, focused on research that facilitates the coexistence of wildlife and humans in human-altered landscapes. Katie’s Ph.D. research focuses on monitoring the health of Indiana bats (Myotis sodalis) to determine whether forest management practices affect populations. Katie has also worked with bats in southern Mexico, Borneo, and Madagascar and California Condors in the desert Southwest.
