Ricky Fataar grew up in South Africa playing music with his brothers.
After the beach boys heard them, they were signed to a record deal and eventual asked him to join the band.
In 1978 he took part in the Rock and roll parody of the Beatles called the Ruttles with members of Monty Python.
Now after playing in her band for many years, Bonnie Raitt introduces him as the king of the band.
