World of Song is a Signature Concert; our season finale celebration of the advancements made by 50 Apprentice and Concert Choir singers (ages eight to sixteen) in vocal skills and music knowledge. Choristers are eager to share how their talents and passion have grown, and demonstrate their powerful singing abilities.
In 2013, we explored "The Heavens and the Earth" - nature's magical spirit - through the music of notable composers in classical and contemporary styles. A night of songs that celebrated the earth, seasons, and skies.
Esteemed guests, Vox Humana (Victoria's premier chamber choir, conducted by Brian Wismath) brought their renowned talents to the concert. Together, the Choirs created a one-of-a-kind concert - a blend of striking adult vocals with the pure sound of children's voices - performing works by a variety of composers.
