Yesterday late in the evening we were called by the hospital, Son Espases University Hospital in Palma de Mallorca, that today at 1.30 PM I have an appointment with my surgeon. So we have this extra video today to take you all with me at the first appointment to my doctor (the doctor who was in charge during my 7 month stay in the hospital).
The 28th of October 2019 was the day I became a below knee amputee at the age of 45, due to infections after a surgery that was necessary due to a motorbike accident.
This channel is made to help other below knee amputees or future below knee amputees and their family to give them a bit more information and support.
I want to give you a peek in my life, my emotions and the practical challenges I have or had to face.
