Pretty happy with this cover.
I initially gave up on this due to how many key changes in the original. However, after arranging Rito Village and realizing key changes were optional, I revisited this and made it work.
Only the "chorus" deviated from the original key, and only by half a step down. Everything else followed the OG's key changes, and frankly I'm surprised I only had to deviate for just 1 section.
Anyways, I noticed the chord progression was very similar to Conquest from Awakening, so I tossed in that iteration of the FE theme at the end. I can probably cover Conquest next since they're pretty similar in concept, but I really want to arrange non VGM for a bit.
As for the doodle, I wanted to draw timera since it's her country's music. She's canonically a terrible musician and I thought it would be funny. But I also think everyone from FE look like clowns (IS didn't give Mika Pikazo a lot to work with...) , so I drew 2000s punk rock Ike instead . Ike's the Solm emblem ring anyways.
