Storyline:
It hasn't been long since you walked through the front door. It was a fun but long night as you celebrated with friends with a night out in the city. From Covent Garden to Soho, visiting the city's many bustling pubs and trendy bars had you tired by the end of the evening. Stirring ever so slightly, the cat looked up momentarily as you hung up your coat on the coat stand and placed your dripping wet umbrella inside to dry off. A tiny pool of water had already started to gather on the stand. Rain had been pouring all evening. Thunder and lightning added to the ambience of the night sky.
Out of your damp clothes and into your warm pj's you snuggle up onto the sofa in your dressing gown. A warm drink in your hands and the candlelit, you look out across the water towards Westminster where you had been hours earlier in one of the many bars. Traffic was still busy on the bridge with the sounds of vehicles passing by.
The cat, too comfortable to move from the sofa, lets out a rhythmic purring noise. Warm, cosy and dry. You feel relaxed as you listen to the rainfall, glimpse the lightning and hear the faint noise from the city. Twelve chimes sound out from Big Ben. You snuggle back down to a few more chapters of your latest book and warm tea...
