Number of young people receiving disability benefits 'doubles over the past decade'

Описание: The number of teenagers receiving disability benefits has doubled over the last 10 years, a new study has shown.

The Resolution Foundation says 1.2 million children across England and Wales live with a disability, with more than half of them claiming government support.

More than 682,000 young people received the Child Disability Living Allowance (DLA) in 2023, up from 333,000 in 2013, the report said
