Award winning journalist Peter Taylor gets exclusive access to tobacco company British American Tobacco to investigate the development of e-cigarettes. Many tobacco industry executives are claiming that e-cigs are hugely safer than traditional cigarettes and could save millions of lives but Peter, as well as anti-tobacco campaigners aren't convinced and fear that it's just a smokescreen to divert attention away from traditional cigarette sales.
Peter Taylor, a journalist who has investigated the tobacco industry for 40 years, sniffs out the state of the business today, when cigarettes are becoming less and less accepted but profits continue to increase. However, frank honesty has replaced the blatant denial of the past.
