So we tried the tightly curly method, which is outlined on the website: http://www.tightlycurly.com
We did a pre-poo so that we could detangle her hair early in the process. We detangled with a paddle brush. These choices were made in an effort to minimize her shrinkage (which is about at a 70%!!) Anywhoo, we left in the Giovanni 50/50 moisture conditioner as a styling instrument. It helped every curl to POP! Then we followed up with shea moisture's Curling Souffle. Her coils remained moisturized and defined up til even now (2 days later!). This method is great for moisture, curl definition, etc. If you suffer with some "ashy" areas as she does when trying to define your curls, give this method a try!
