سُورَةُ ٱلْفَاتِحَة
Surah al-Fātiḥah (1:6-7)
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ . صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
Guide us to the straight path. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have earned [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
"‘Ṣirāṭ’ (path) implies clarity and firmness; ‘mustaqīm’ denotes straightness without deviation.
Arabic Terms: الصِّرَاطُ الْمُسْتَقِيمُ (ṣirāṭ al-mustaqīm)"
