Описание: This is a DIY Bar Stool Makeover! Learn The Easy Way to Reupholster Like a Pro! Today I'm showing you the easiest way to remodel bar stools. Barstools are expensive, so I remodeled my old ones. I got to remodel them exactly how I wanted while saving lots of money. This was my first time reupholstering anything. I watched a couple of videos and got the hang of it pretty quickly. So, if I can do it, YOU CAN TOO!

First, detach the stool from the chair. Clean the stool, prime it, & spray paint it. Measure the different sides of the chair, then cut the fabric to match. Remember to leave a few extra inches for tucking & anchoring. So if one side measures 16", cut the piece around 20".

FOR UPHOLSTERING ALL SIDES OF THE CHAIR: Fit the fabric in place, then cut it to match the shape. Force about 2 inches into the fold (and/or underneath the chair) and go all the way down on the sides; make sure no old material is visible. Apply fabric glue deep into the fold & spray glue on the surface. Pull the fabric so it's taut and smooth the fabric over the spray glue at the same time. There shouldn't be any loose slack; the fabric should be very tight and fitted. Work small sections at a time until the entire surface is covered. For edges, pull the fabric so it's taut, then force it into the seam. Get fabric as close to the seams as possible. To cover the seam, mark the edge, cut extra fabric off, spray glue, then wrap the fabric over the seam and anchor it deep into the crevice/crease. Remember to anchor all sides down.

If you decide to integrate well-place bunches into your design, make sure they're the exact same; like where you gather the fabric, how many creases it has, which direction the creases are pointed, etc. and it should look fine. Tightly secure the bunch on the bottom.

Next secure loose fabric on the bottom; staple it about 2 inches away from the edge. Cut off all the extra material after the staples.

Add final touches like rope, buttons, tassels, etc. You must add something (like rope) to hide where different pieces of fabrics meet. Use any glue safe for fabric. Secure the rope at the bottom so the end isn't visible.

Last, reassemble the entire barstool.
