The Independent Training Video showcases two of Redbridge’s Young People and their journey to independence. The Independent Travel Training (ITT) Programme promotes independent travel so young people can confidently, safely and competently undertake the journey to and from school or college on their own. The aim of the ITT programme is not only for the young people to be able to achieve independence on a route but to give them transferable skills which they can later apply to all their journeys whether to access social activities, further educational courses and future employment opportunities, we also celebrated the achievements of other young people that successfully completed the ITT programme.
