In this video, I’ll walk you through the step-by-step process of canning fresh peaches right in your own kitchen! Whether you're preserving your summer harvest or stocking your pantry for the colder months, this easy-to-follow guide will show you how to safely can peaches using a water bath. Start with peeling , slicing, and preparing a light syrup. You'll see how to properly pack the jars, remove air bubbles, wipe the rims, and process the jars for safe long-term storage.
Step 1 :  make sure you have ripe peaches that have a slight give to pressure
Step 2: bring a pot of water to boil blanching 5 to 6 peaches at a time for 30 seconds to a minute, removing and placing an ice water for one minute.
Step 3: After blanching all of your peaches appealing should slip right off of your peach then you’re ready to slice
Step 4: Slice your peach from top to bottom all the way around the beach, twist and pull from the pit. Then sliced as desired
Step 5 : make a simple syrup in large stock pot
6 cups of water, one and a half cups of granulated sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves
Step 6: add peaches a small amount at a time to boiling simple syrup simmer for two minutes
Step 7 : fill jars with sliced peaches
Step 8: fill jars with simple syrup that you blanch the peach slices and leaving 1/2 inch headroom at the top of the jar, using knife slide down the side of the inside of the jar to make sure there are no air pockets
Step 9: place lids and rings finger tighten on the jar and place into water bath canner that is simmering on the stove Water bath your peaches for 25 minutes
Step 10: remove jars from Water bath after 25 minutes let cool and allow jars to seal if the jar does not seal place the refrigerator and use within a week
