The case against suspected criminal mastermind, Yanga Nyalara, and three others has been postponed to the 14th of November in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court, for the accused to be served with an indictment.
Nyalara and Wandile Tofile face 31 charges, including 12 counts of murder, five counts of attempted murder, several counts of illegal possession of firearms, illegal possession of ammunition and dealing in and possession of drugs. These are related to an incident on the 15th of May last year.
Nyalara and Manelisi Ngumla are charged with six counts of murder linked to an incident on the 8th of May at Site C in Khayelitsha. And Lundi Zweni is charged in connection with a contravention of the Prevention of Organised Crime Act.
