Описание: The flood situation in Odisha has become more serious as the Kharasrota River has intensified its impact after the Baitarani River. Several areas of Jajpur district, including Dasarathpur, Rasulpur, and Bari, are submerged. Weak embankments have breached at multiple locations, leaving many villages cut off from the outside world.

In Bhadrak district, although the water level at Akhuapada has dropped below the danger mark, floodwaters continue to rise in Dhamnagar. Bhadrak-Aradi, Kothar, Dhamnagar, and Dhusuri remain among the worst-affected areas.

Meanwhile, the first flood in the Brahmani River has inundated several parts of Pattamundai, Aul, and Kendrapara blocks in Kendrapara district.

Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari conducted an aerial survey to assess the flood situation and review the impact across the affected districts.
