How to fix a thrown track on a Bobcat MT100

This video goes over the simplest way to reinstall a track that has been thrown off in the field.
1. Raise the machine up with the attachment and by placing a log underneath the frame of the machine on the side that the track has derailed.
2. Take a piece of chain and chain binder and compress the spring inside the track undercarriage. if you cannot see the rear idler slide into the undercarriage it's likely bound up. as you tighten it hit the idler with something to unbind it. this will allow it to slide. Then retighten and repeat. It needs to compress about 3/8 of an inch.
3. Take a digging bar or strong piece of steel pipe and pry while operating the track in such a manner that the steel teeth on the track bite the idler and return the track to its correct position.
