This could be the first visit Boston! Yemen Airways 747SP. Several of us filmed this rare visitor today. One the the plane experts shared that only 50 of the SPs were built, so really fun to see one. Very sharp looking plane too! Reg number 70-YMN.
Reportedly on board the flight was President of Yemen Ali Abdullah Saleh who was in the US for ongoing medical treatment related to his recovery from an assassination attempt in June 2011. This visit was just prior to his turning over power to Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi days after this video was filmed.
