In this video I visit Surprise View in the Peak District in misty conditions.
Having never been there before I didn't know what to expect and so I took the opportunity to have a bit of a casual explore and see what would catch my eye.
One thing I love about photographing a new place is the whole idea that it is simply an exploration, where you can remove all that expectation of coming home with a set of great images. With no preconception of an image or expectation of the type of image you are going to capture you remove that pressure and make it a simply enjoyable experience for yourself. In fact on this outing I got so carried away and lost that I nearly became late for my other appointments of the day! But oh so worth it :)
Thanks for watching.
