Railroad Switching At Malfunctioning Railroad Crossing! Shortline Railroads In Ohio,Railway Shunting

Описание: Short line railroad switching customers in Ohio. Difficult switching operation since the railroad crossing signals and gates were malfunctioning right at switch to the customer spur in Macon, Ohio. The ancient B36-7 with the loaded grain hoppers was already waiting on the main for the local to show up. The GP49 which is an ex Alaska Railroad Geep put its cars in the spur and the B36-7 coupled to all the cars, pulled them out on the main and then backed up to couple to the GP49. That way, the train headed back west with a locomotive on both ends! When the train got to Sardinia, they used the Sardinia Holdout siding to get both locomotives onto the front of the train and then continued on west to their office near Newtown, Ohio. Cincinnati Eastern Railroad CCET! My favorite railroad. There are also a few other shots including Mount Orab and a picture of the train going under Old 32 in Batavia Township.
