Chamonix Bouldering, Col des Montets. We were told about this area by a friend who lives in Chamonix so we bought the bouldering book and went for an adventure. We are still getting used to how accessible climbing spots are in France or Europe compared to New Zealand and Ireland but this is next level. Literally straight across the parking lot there is a Boulder that you can climb on.
Outdoor bouldering is still something we are getting used to and would preferably have more than one bouldering pad but that's complicated liveing from a van.
Col des Montets has some really good juggy boulders with safe landings so we were really excited for this one. It's maybe 15 minutes drive outside of Chamonix center and is a spectacular setting.
