In comparison to the Sigma Select 2 stones, Shapton Pro have about the same abrasion rate. In the video I commented that the Shapton seemed faster, but after reviewing, I see the error of my judgement. It took approx 100 passes, to develop a full burr, just as it did with the Sigma stones.
