The AI Safety Symposium held on October 14, 2024. In the morning, the CeSIA hosted a tutorial on AI safety. The afternoon featured exceptional talks by Yoshua Bengio, a pioneer in Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning; Stuart Russell, a globally renowned expert in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics; and Dan Nechita, the lead technical negotiator for the EU's Artificial Intelligence Act on behalf of the European Parliament. The day concluded with a roundtable discussion featuring a panel of esteemed experts.
