Today on the Senate floor, I asked my colleagues to join me in honoring the life and service of U.S. Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer
AST2 Tyler Jaggers stationed at Coast Guard Air Station Astoria in our district.
He gave his life answering a call to help others at sea.
Along Oregon’s coast, we know how much we rely on the United States Coast Guard and the brave men and women who answer that call.
I ask that you keep Tyler and his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers, and send strength to the members of his team who will continue the mission in his honor and guided by the words so familiar to that community.
